More More More!

For a few months now we have been working on teaching Cooper the sign language hand gestures for "more". He is kind of whiny when it comes to eating as patience is not really a virtue he possesses quite yet. So, we thought if he could express himself he might be a little happier and it seems to be working quite well...although he has to be reminded from time to time! It is more like a clap, but he is getting the idea, which is all that matters, right? We thought it was pretty cute and figured you might enjoy it also! As you can tell, he quite enjoys and utilizes his new found "freedom of speech!"

You've Got the Music in You

We like to joke that Cooper has music in his soul, this kid will seriously dance to anything! We're talking anything from "You are My Sunshine" to Jack Johnson. He will even dance to Brad's singing...if you have ever heard that you would know what I am talking about...yikes ;-) I guess we shouldn't be too surprised we do have music playing in our house about 8 hours out of the day and Connor and I are always dancing around to it. He probably feels like that is what he is supposed to do!

He has a favorite song, "Disturbia" by Rhianna, which will bring him out of a hysterical cry and straight into dancing and smiling. Sometimes when he hears the main beat he gets so into it, it looks like he is headbanging!
