Connorism of the Day

Danielle decides she is going to look up what the meaning of Connor's name is. In the meantime, Mom and I are telling him that it means things like cute and sweet -- he then pipes up and says, "no, it means cool!"

Winter Blues

We are iced in for the 2nd time this month! What a crazy winter this has been. Poor Connor (and Mommy) is going stir crazy. Every day that the sun is out he thinks that it is summertime....which goes to show you how much we have seen the sun the last couple of months! The look on his face breaks my heart when he finds out that he can't go outside and play baseball, because even though the sun is out, the temp is still only 17 degrees.

Here is a picture looking out our front door. It looks like snow, but it is actually little ice pellets...pretty crazy!

Just a little Connor funny

I was sitting down the other day and when I started to stand up I winced outloud because my tailbone was hurting. Connor, who was sitting right there was very concerned and wanted to know what was wrong. So, I told him that my tailbone hurt. He then started laughing hysterically, when he finally calmed down I asked him what was so funny. He replied, "you don't have a tail!"

Creative and ALL boy

Connor has been really into knights and pirates lately. He got a pirate ship and pirates for Christmas and a castle and knights for his birthday, both of which he amazingly still plays with on a daily basis. One evening last week he stayed the night with Jim and Sara; when Sara dropped him off she appologized for him bringing a little plastic chair home with him, but said that we had to see what he was doing with it. He has quite a little imagination!
