Tired of waiting...

Friday was a crazy morning and we had not had a chance to get Connor dressed. He had been bugging us to get his clothes out for an hour or so. Apparently he became tired of waiting...

Please note that yellow in his shirt matches the stripes on the sides of his pants (he made sure to point that out to us) and the fact that his shirt and pants are on backwards and inside out. The funny thing is, he dresses himself all of the time, and usually does not have any trouble with backwards and inside out. I guess you can do whatever you want to when you get to decide your own wardrobe!

Candy, candy, candy, seemed to be the theme this year! Connor has more candy then we know what to do with! His favorite thing to do with it? Take it out of the plastic eggs, put it in his Easter basket, and then put it back in the eggs....with a little snack here and there of course! I also hear them being called pirates, knights, and baseball guys from time to time. So apparently his imagination is working overtime again. That's alright, it has provided quite a morning of entertainment for him (a plus because I am trying to get the upstairs ready for the carpet installation).

We have been crazy busy lately. Mom and Danielle are in town so we have been running around all week (man are they shoppers), we are getting new carpet on Tuesday, and our washing machine overflowed and warped our wood floor. So, we've been working on trying to get that fixed. In the midst of all of that we discovered that we need a new washing machine and did I mention that the nursery is still not done because we decided to pull the armoire out that was in the closet space and put in an actual closet? Whew, can you say overwhelmed?!?! I am just trying to survive these last few weeks of pregnancy and utter chaos in my house. My poor husband is probably really feeling the wrath of my crankiness, I keep promising him that once the baby is born things will return to normal...at least with me...I guess we will have a new "normal" in our house! Anyway, here is what I hope to be the last belly pic so keep your fingers crossed that I am not posting another in a couple of weeks!

Connor is doing pretty well, he thinks all of the baby things are very cute and we hear awww's from him quite a bit. The picture of him and me was his idea, he was imitating me little booger!

8 months

Let it Snow....again!

I feel like a broken record when I say that we got snow again yesterday. I would say around 6in. here and around 10in. fell in the city. It took Brad 2 hours and 10 min. to get home from work because MODOT was not able to keep up. Regardless, Connor made the most of it. He spent the day with Grandma Sara and did they ever have fun! Sara took some video with her digital camera of him sledding, it is pretty funny! Also, check out the snow family. She said that they made three snowmen and Connor insisted on making another one for his baby brother.
