Mr. Smiley!

I am so excited because I finally captured Cooper smiling! He started about 2 1/2 weeks ago and we have been trying to get it on camera but as soon as the camera gets in his face he is instantly over being happy. This morning I snuck one in on him. I got him all ready to go in his car seat and he was cooing, so I figured I better get the camera ready because cooing in his case always leads to smiling. Sure enough as soon as I walked up with the camera he smiled really big. So, in all of his attempts to make liars out of us, we finally have the proof that he is in fact smiling...Mom, Dan, this one is for you...awww proof!

Brotherly Love

It has taken Connor awhile to get used to having a little brother around. He, so far has been really good with Cooper but often asks why "that baby" has to be so loud and if we could tell Cooper not to cry at night because he just can't sleep (yeah right, I think we would have an extra body in our bed each night if Cooper were really waking him up!) Although we are still dealing with a few bouts of jealousy here and there things are going pretty well.

Connor has been very sweet, making an effort to share his dinosaur blankie...only when Cooper is not in spit-up mode of course because that grosses him out!

Happy Birthday Cooper!

I can hardly believe that my baby is already a month old. Wow, time flies! He had his 1-month checkup yesterday and is weighing in at 10 1/2 lbs. and is 21 1/4 in. long. He is about 1 1/2 lbs. behind Connor at this point. So, I am hoping for a smaller baby this time around...purely wishful thinking!

Cooper at his best -- not for those with weak stomachs!

Everyday I send Brad pictures of the boys via cameraphone. I had just gotten finished feeding Cooper and decided to take his "picture of the day" because he was making some funny faces. It just so happened that right as I took the picture he spit-up. It's kind of gross, but I thought it was pretty funny...being as though that is what I spend about 85% percent of my day cleaning up! The kid is only a month old and is already taking some pretty priceless pictures!
