There is a baby in there!

I have finally started really showing which has been very reassuring that there really is life growing inside me (other than the ultrasounds and the constant rib pain ;-) of course!) If I have to hear one more person say, are you sure that you are (insert month) along because I can hardly tell that you are even pregnant, I think I might just scream or cry or both...you know how those pregnancy hormones go! Really truly I am not all that upset about it merely because I looked like a beached whale when I was this far along with Connor (I will look around to see if I can find a picture). The pictures below are of me at 6 months and then at 7 months.....awww proof!

It's Been Awhile!

Well it has been quite awhile since I have blogged about anything. We have been crazy busy mostly with remodeling projects. We are moving Connor into the guest room which until a few days ago was floor to ceiling wall paper.

We had a good Christmas. Sara was unfortunately out of town with work most of the holiday so we went back to my parents house for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Here are a couple of pictures of Connor with Santa and then Connor and Camryn:

The week of the 7th Danielle came out to visit us. We had a great time shopping and just hanging out. We don't get to spend a whole lot of "sister time" together, so it was really nice. The most exciting part of her trip was that she flew home...her first time flying! So, here are a couple of pictures of her going through security (I thought it was pretty cute!)

FINALLY Finished!

We FINALLY finished painting our bedroom....ugh what a project this has been.

Now, I am not immune to the aches and pains of painting, but this one was quite a booger. Dealing with "floating" furniture and those darned stripes was not what I like to call fun. I have done the stripes thing before in Connor's bedroom, but those were only six inches wide and only half of the wall (see below...super easy compared to this). Oh well, we think it turned out really well and things are now back to normal....next....turning the guest room into a toddler room....my work is never done ;-)
